On Sunday, my colleagues and I took a van ride 40 kms. from Kampala to Entebbe dock. We were going on a speed boat trip to the island sanctuary of Uganda’s chimpanzees, the Ngamba Island. The boat ride took about 1 hour.

The weeks have been hectic for me. I arrived in Prague from my three-week vacation in the Philippines on April 13. Then I flew to Uganda on the 20th. I barely had time to unpack and then pack up and prepare again for another trip.

In search for more Negros beach getaway, we took up an offer of a family friend to their island. We were told it was opposite Jomabo Island. I couldn’t get enough of seafoods. Another night was spent dining at Gerry’s Grill Bacolod until my stomach felt like bursting. What did we have?
