The memorial to the victims of communism at Petrin Hill

When you pass by the foot of Petrin Hill, you won’t fail to miss the human statues standing on the stairs. Czech Republic (formerly known as Czechoslovakia) was under the communist rule since 1948 until 1989 and in honor of the victims of communism, a memorial was erected at the Petrin Hill in the year 2002.

A concrete sign beside the zombie-like human structures has these inscriptions:
