The exciting world of rodeo

Almost everyday, there is an exciting event happening around the world especially in the world of sports. Currently in Europe, what has got Europeans excited is the ongoing football championship, the Euro 2008. Unfortunately for our team, we didn’t make it to the quarter finals. The game against Turkey last Sunday started very well for our team, but in the end we lost! Too bad!

In the US, specifically in Nevada, they also have an interesting event which they watch out for annually. It’s the National Finals Rodeo which is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It’s known as the premier championship rodeo event in the US which runs for 10 days. There are seven events to watch and these are the steer wrestling, team roping, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, bull riding and the only event for women only which is the barrel racing. The events are tough to handle and requires lots of stamina that’s why the only the adventurous and the true cowboy or cowgirl at heart wins.

The action!

Because of its popularity, The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo or WNFR Tickets easily gets sold out. I can imagine how rodeo fans would love to witness this thrilling event. In fact, to accommodate fans who can’t get tickets for the show can watch it at various hotels and casinos in town.
