Guess where I am? I’m back in Uganda since last week! I arrived Tuesday night after an 8-hour flight from Amsterdam. I was very tired coz I only slept about an hour the night before I left for the trip.

Anyway, I am staying at Kampala Serena again. I’m glad I am staying in this comfortable and nice place for the duration of my stay. It helps a lot after a tiring day from work to be resting in a comfortable place. I’ve taken pictures of Kampala Serena Hotel in my previous trip but I was only able to post the pictures of the room where I was billeted.
Our accommodation includes free breakfast buffet, a really good way to start the day. After shower and dressing up, I would go down to the basement, at the Lakes Restaurant and eat to my heart’s content. I like eating outside coz the air is fresh. One thing I missed doing the last time I was here was swimming in their outdoor pool coz I forgot to bring my swimming trunks but this time I made sure I have my swim wear with me.

All in all, my stay here in Kampala Serena is perfect. But it’s quite expensive so next time I’m back to Uganda, I might be staying in a different hotel. I checked out the other hotels through hotelscombined.com and found out that Sheraton Hotel Kampala only costs 155 euro per night, way cheaper when compared to Kampala Serena which costs 278 euro a night. Both are five star hotels. But guess what, my friends who have stayed in Sheraton said that it’s spooky and stinky there. It’s all up for you to choose. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay at our Kampala Serena Hotel. I would propose that next time you also stay at the hotel or anywhere else that we are located.Next time I would recommend that you book with the hotel directly and you could get better rates.
