Aside from the architectural gems of Prague, a different place to visit in Prague would be the Zoo Praha. It ranks 7th among the Best Zoos in the World by Forbes Magazine in 2008. It is an ideal place for families with little children. Kids will definitely have a good time in the Children’s Zoo. They can get inside the yard with ranges and stables; pet and even feed the various kinds of domesticated animals. There are chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep, pigs, ponies and geese. There’s a pond with ducks and a train to ride too. There is also a big play area where children can have fun while the parents can eat in a nearby restaurant.

There are many things in store for everyone. 5,345 animals to see with 674 species! Some you might see for the first time in your life. Don’t miss the Indonesian Jungle and the African Dum too. If you’re too tired to walk, you can take a ride in a train which will tour you around the zoo. With all the interesting things to do in the Prague Zoo, it wouldn’t be a surprise if you end up spending the entire day there.
