Mohyla Míru or the Tumulus of Peace is located in Slavkov u Brna about 200 kilometers away from Prague. The monument was built in commemoration of the famous battle of the three emperors – Emperor Napoleon leading the French Army against Austrian Emperor Franz and Russian Tsar Alexander I in December 1805. This battle also known as the Battle of Austerlitz was considered to be one of Napoleon’s greatest victories which successfully destroyed the Third Coalition against the French Empire.
