One of my readers pointed out your blog to me. I am not sure if you are Czech but you do have a Prague connections I see so we have something in common :) I am from Prague as well, have been living in the US for about 10 years now and I have a blog for Czechs and Slovaks living abroad. It's called the Czechmate diary so check it out if you get a chance (Especially if you are Czech)!

Thanks!

PS: you do have wonderful pictures on your site

Hi.
Nice to see you´re blogging about my country.
Lisbon, the capital, is a very nice city with lots of ancient traditions.
What I like best about Belem is "Pastéis de Belem" wich are a typical and wonderful cake.
Thanks for returning my drops.
All the best. Mizé.

Based on your hints: I googled cotton-producing countries and looked at the top ten, then came up with Uzbekistan as the country... but you want the city name, yeah? I'm guessing it's the capital Tashkent... though I haven't seen those buildings from the Tashkent images I've surfed online. Whew!
